New Client Launch: Cape Cod Chamber

Economic Dashboard

The Cape Cod Economic Dashboard tells the story of small businesses. Of the nearly 10,000 businesses in Cape Cod, two-thirds of them have fewer than ten employees. This is a takeaway viewers of the dashboard get right out of the gate, with supporting datasets that follow to articulate how workers commute on and off the peninsula, how the "Blue Economy" industries show the region's relationship to the water that surrounds it (the cape got its name from a fish, after all) and much more.

Like many places around the U.S., Cape Cod has seen a significant transition over the past few years, as more and more people have chosen the peninsula as their primary residence. To sieze on this economic development opportunity, one of the Cape Cod Chamber's strategies includes using data to tell its story to businesses and the community. Along with plenty of text narrative throughout the dashboard to contextualize the information:

Using our no-code data visualization technology, we had the Cape Cod Chamber up and running with data quickly, with a first draft of the dashboard live in under a week. From there the chamber team honed the words and narrative, and we put the final touches on the dashboard 👌. Moving forward, the eIMPACT team will do monthly round-ups on the data, keeping things up-to-date.

You can check it all out on the dashboard below, or visit the Cape Cod Chamber site:
