The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber in Maine launched its Economic Impact Dashboard today, the latest example of the evolving role of chambers as engines of innovation in economic development.
The dashboard itself has some innovations, too. Among them the custom navigation/table of contents that the Chamber's web developer implemented to allow viewers to skip to specific data and visuals within the comprehensive page.
We also really like the Underemployment data, which clearly articulates the gap between education level sought by employers (job postings) versus education level of the population. With the nifty custom navigation on the site, you can even share this specific data section with one link.
